RE: WBL "Traditional Synthetic Cuisine"
Gave it a listen the other day. On the whole, I think it's quite well done and
interesting. The analog synths give the sounds a different, more organic feel,
than what I've heard before. I especially liked track 2. The progression of
sounds and layering is well done, and I liked the distorted effects on the
second track.
I'm not a huge ambient fan, though, so I can't give you that much feedback in
comparison to other bands. I did like it a lot better than the RMI Mind/Body CD
compilation, though. It seems that your material has a different feel than a
lot of the material on the RMI Mind CD, which seems to be a rehash of old ideas.

Although you probably are trying avoid obvious beats/rhythms, I think that some
of the material would be great mixed into an ambient/dance type sound, with a
little added baseline and slow rhythm. This is probably exactly opposite of
what you're trying to achieve, but this is my personal taste... ;-)
Later.
