Subject: COINCIDENCE?
So, last night the power went out. When it attempted to flicker back
on, weird blinking lights flickered on and off for minutes. THEN, this
morning, I read that the band 'Weird Blinking Lights' played last night.
COINCIDENCE>?
Or are there forces at work beyond our control, a rocky/gristle/unlaut
C O N S P I R A C Y ???
hmmm...

Three Thumbs Up
Jesus tore himself down off the cross and was chugging beer in the
dark corner.
Resonate, Caliban, and Umlaut duplicated my brain frequencies so
perfectly that everything canceled out and I was rendered unconcious
on a couch with izzy for a good 45 minutes.

Subject: Your studio, disc, etc
I thought your studio was really great. What comes through even more
though is how much you really enjoy what you do, which is something
that you don't see all that much of in our generation (most of whom
are sysadmins biding their time for who knows what)
I listened to your disc on the way home. The flight had a little
turbulence to it so that one was always aware of the forward velocity
of the craft in the air. I put the chair back, shut my eyes, and let
the disc roll. After settling into the recurring sweep of the filter,
each new sonic motif formed a new set of images....snippets from that
book of yours, references to science fiction novels, problems in
mechanics and number theory, repeating patterns in topology....one of
the more memorable hours of the flight...
You, my good friend, are a true master of your art. You have my
greatest admiration, as always.
Now all I've got to do is get you to New York so I can show you
what I do....
